With them bringing in OHSA to evaluate their safety and practices it is for the greater good of everyone at the plant. From our book is states that with utilitarian we should behave to create the greatest good for the greatest number (Northhouse, 2018). Showing this respect to the employees for their wellbeing is great for the leadership team, as it is a way of aligning the team by communicating to them that safety is a key function for them. In chapter one of our book it shows us that a leader produces change and movement.You could argue that it is more of a virtue based approach, as being virtue based is about becoming a good and worthy person (Northhouse, 2018). Now they might be trying to change people to this, but ultimately they are really looking out for the good of everyone. How do the attorneys see their responsibilities toward PPI?The management team is very active in the safety of their employees. With them bringing in an outside agency that has knowledge with safety it ensures a second set of eyes on everything. This is much like in the Air Force where we have quality assurance that works for a different group. They will come in and inspect our workplace and practices. With their findings we are able to improve upon everything and make a safer work area. I also think that with showing that they care about their employees wellbeing they will trust them more.
