Biopsychological research can be intimidating and can feel disconnected from our everyday behaviors and experiences. However, understanding how this information crosses disciplines to provide a deeper knowledge of behavior can support creative and evidence-based approaches to behavior change. This discussion is an evaluation of how contemporary neuroscience research is conducted; how it provides physiological, ontogenetic, evolutionary, and functional explanations for behavior; and how it can be applied ethically in different fields. The content of your initial post will be based on the occupational path you select. Your initial post should be between 600 words and must include appropriate in-text citations and a reference list.
