(2010). Using the theory of planned behavior to predict mothers’ intention to vaccinate their daughters against HPV. The Journal of School Nursing, 26(3), 194–202. Example is below After carefully researching the study of assessed mother’s intentions to vaccinate their daughters, it believed that it would prompt children to be sexually active. At least it seem to push that agenda towards a positive attitude for vaccinations for (HPV). On the other hand, they express that numerous mothers believed that there is little risk factors to vaccination. There is no disagreement that vaccine refusal is the cause of outbreaks. More than 70 percent of measles cases this year were in people who had received no vaccines, and in all, 88 percent of cases were associated with under-immunized, close-knit communities. Yet parents’ decisions have effects that can reach far beyond these networks and neighborhoods. I personally believe it crucial to vaccinate your children and yourself to ensure the safety of the community. On-time vaccination throughout childhood is essential because it helps provide immunity before children are exposed to potentially life-threatening diseases. Vaccines are tested to ensure that they are safe and effective for children to receive at the recommended ages. Vaccines protect your child before they are exposed to a disease. That is why the HPV vaccinations are recommended earlier rather than later, to protect your child long before they are ever exposed to the virus. “Many doctors don’t recommend the HPV vaccine because it means they have to talk to parents about sex” (Mullin, 2017). A great tool used to track vaccination history is advances in electronic communications have been essential in enabling the rapid sharing of health and safety information. Many parents feel that they cannot trust the sources, which create the vaccinations. Currently health care professionals like Doctors, Nurses will take the time to sit and explain the benefit of getting vaccine. The reality is that the scientific research behind vaccinations is scary. Most people was educated may decline the action due to the impact on the numbers of children. It is critical to contain disease with vaccinations. It has been estimated that for each U.S. birth cohort receiving recommended childhood immunizations, around 20 million illnesses and more than 40,000 deaths are prevented, resulting in $70 billion in savingsReferences:3. an extra email from her tutor:
Hi there,
I have had several students ask about the individual essay for conference planning.
Just to clarify:
This is asking you to think about ways (tools and techniques) of ensuring the delivery (implementation) of the event will be successful (judged by achieving event objectives).  You should think about some of the aspects of event planning covered (eg site/venue, content, budgets, risk, human resources) and think about how you can plan to ensure that the logistical elements of these aspects are delivered according to plan.

You may find it helpful to include examples of different types of events to help explain the tools/techniques and what they help to achieve in terms of putting conference and event plans into action

This is a ‘theoretical essay’, written using a traditional academic style, so you will need to explore literature.
In the first place you may find it helpful to look at Allen et al (festival and special event management).  The third edition is best because you can look at chapter 12 but if you can only get the 5th edition then look at chapter 15 and parts of chapter 6.  The library has at least 1 reference and 1 3-hour loan version of each of these texts (as well as some to take out for 1 week loan).  I have also put my copy (2nd edition) in the project support centre for viewing – in which case look at chapter 13.

You may also find it helpful to look at Getz (p286-289) which discusses operations and logistics. There are other texts/trade press you will also need to look at but these are suggested to get you started.

Modifying theoretical interventions for clients experiencing life

Modifying Theoretical Interventions for Clients Experiencing Life Transition and Developmental Issues
In all likelihood, developmental and life transition issues will form the core of your work as a couple and family practitioner. These issues are those that couples and families typically encounter through common day-to-day living and may include being newly married, having a child, or sending a youngest child off into his or her own adulthood. They also may include common stressors, such as divorce, job loss, or death of a family member, just to name a few. Individuals across all cultures experience developmental and life transition issues in one way or another, and you will likely find yourself sitting across from a couple or family experiencing a similar life event to one you have encountered in your own life.
Despite the universality of many developmental and life transition issues, you should still keep in mind that there is no one way to experience a divorce, death, or job loss, nor is there one way to clinically encounter and assist a couple or family experiencing such issues. Different theoretical orientations may suggest different ways for addressing various scenarios, and you may have to modify your chosen theoretical orientation to work effectively in your professional practice.
For this Discussion, choose one life transition or developmental issue, and consider how you might modify your theoretical orientation and/or infuse interventions from other theories in order to address this issue.

a brief description of the life transition or developmental issue you selected and your chosen theoretical orientation. Then, explain how you might modify the theory-based interventions of your chosen theoretical orientation to work effectively with client(s) experiencing the issue you selected. Finally, explain the significant aspects of the life transition or developmental issue that influence how you would modify the application of your chosen theoretical orientation.
Be sure to support your postings and responses with specific references to the resources.
Respond to at least one of your colleagues’ postings in one or more of the following ways:

Ask a probing question.
Share an insight from having read your colleague’s posting.
Offer and support an opinion.
Make a suggestion.
Expand on your colleague’s posting.

Rogers communication case study | Business & Finance homework help

How important is vision in business? Explain the role of vision in the case of Rogers Communication.
Using examples from the case study, describe how Rogers Communication has remained current and up to date with the latest technology.
Research the background to “the most expensive mistake” Rogers ever made. Provide a brief (1-2 paragraphs) description of the details of that business venture.
What’s a hostile takeover? What factors determine why and how a hostile takeover is the appropriate strategy for business growth?
Rogers has, for the most part, remained a Canadian company. Based on research, explain why you think it has chosen to maintain a more national presence and not expand into the international market.
Rogers Communication is a domestic company. Sometimes in this global world we think domestic companies are less successful, ingenious, or exciting than multinationals. Has this case study of Rogers Communication changed your opinion of that widely held perception?
Based on the history of the company and the content you have reviewed so far in this course about the future of technological trends and the economy, what areas or industries do you think Rogers will expand into next to stay relevant and competitive? What would you recommend to the leaders of this organization to consider for future business operations and expansion?

Presenting arguments | Phi 103 Information Logic

Topic: Parenting
Question: What is the appropriate age to talk about sex to your children?
In this class, we learn to evaluate issues in light of the reasoning on all sides prior to arriving at conclusions. We aim to evaluate the quality and quantity of evidence, striving to be as objective as we can about what is most likely to be true.
Once you have formulated your question, conduct research from non-scholarly sources on the internet (e.g., news articles, op-eds, etc.) that present substantive reasoning on each side of the issue.
Your task is to present and evaluate the reasoning from a non-scholarly source on each side of your issue. There is no need to take sides on the issue at this stage. In your analysis, strive to be as objective as possible, evaluating the reasoning from a neutral point of view. For an example of how to complete this paper, take a look at the Week One Example paper.
Your paper should include clearly labeled sections addressing the following elements:

Introduction (approximately 100 words)

Explain your topic.
State the specific question that you are addressing.

Presentation of an Argument

Describe the non-scholarly source (e.g., an op-ed, newspaper article, website, etc.) on one side of the issue and summarize the key points made (approximately 50 words).
Present what you see as the main argument from that source. Make sure to present your argument in standard form, with the premises listed above the conclusion. (approximately 100 words)
Evaluate the quality of the reasoning in this source (approximately 200 words)

In completing your evaluation, consider assessing how well the research supports the premises of the main argument and how strongly the reasoning supports the conclusion of that argument.

Presentation of an Argument on the Other Side of the Issue

Describe the non-scholarly source on the opposite side of the issue and summarize the key points made. (approximately 50 words)
Present what you see as the main argument from that source. Make sure to present your argument in standard form, with the premises listed above the conclusion. (approximately 100 words)
Evaluate the quality of the reasoning in this source (approximately 200 words)

In completing your evaluation, consider assessing how well the research supports the premises of the main argument and how strongly the reasoning supports the conclusion.
